How To: View Frequency Interval Behavior Graphs
Updated this week

The Interval Frequency Behavior Graph helps you track how often a behavior occurs within specific time intervals. You can analyze trends, view details, edit entries, and delete data points as needed.

How to view Frequency Interval Interval Behavior Graphs

  1. Select a Frequency Interval Behavior at the bottom of the graph

    • The X-axis (horizontal) represents dates of observations

    • The Y-axis (left vertical) – Frequency Count displays the total number of recorded occurrences of the behavior.

    • The Y-axis (right vertical) – Observation Period represents the duration of the observation period in minutes and seconds.

    • A solid line with data points connects recorded instances of the behavior, showing trends over time.

    • Data Points: Represent the recorded occurrences of the behavior for a given date. If there are multiple behaviors recorded on the same day, the data point reflects the cumulative frequency count for that day.

    • A dashed horizontal line (Avg.) represents the average frequency of the behavior over the selected timeframe.

    • Observation Period (Square Box) : Represent the observation period, indicating how long the behavior was observed.

      • If multiple instances of the behavior are recorded within a day, the square box displayed on the graph reflects the cumulative duration for that day.

  2. Click on a data point (not the square box scatter plot) to open a pop-up with observation details, including:

    • Behavior Name

    • Date and time of the observation

    • Start time of the observation period

    • Observation Period (displayed on the right Y-axis)

    • Frequency Count (displayed on the left Y-axis)

    • Data collector’s name

    • Location (if applicable)

  3. If data is collected multiple times in a day, use the <> navigation arrows at the top of the pop-up to move between different recorded observations for that day.

  4. Click Edit to modify details such as date, frequency count, observation period duration, or location, then click Save to update.

  5. Click Delete to remove a recorded behavior and confirm the deletion when prompted.

    • Please note, only the user who originally tracked the data
